Moor de Waal is a PhD in the Furstlab since February 2026. She is orignally from the Netherlands, but she moved to Groningen from Switzerland, where she did her master in Biotechnology at ETC. Moor is working on a national consortium project aiming to steer microbial metabolism to optimal fermentation behaviour via a protein de novo design system.
