Wahyu holds a master’s degree in Biomolecular Sciences from the University of Groningen and a bachelor’s degree in biology with minors in molecular biology and biotechnology from Indonesia University of Education. Wahyu is an experienced experimental researcher: he performed research internships in Groningen in molecular enzymology and at Wageningen University in the bacterial genetics groups. Before his master, he gained experience as a research assistant in biomedical applications in Indonesia. In his PhD, Wahyu is working on developing the experimental setup of high-throughput protein engineering screens.
